HOYA Corporation is a global technology company headquartered in Tokyo. Which are the leading supplier of innovative and indispensable high-tech products and services. Since 1978 HOYA focus on manufacturing of ophthalmic lenses and supply it to the optical store located in HK and Macau. As a subordinate of Hoya Vision Care, they aim to facilitate customers’ clear vision, “We care about your eyes” as their business philosophy to pushing them to move forward.
This new website aims at presenting various HOYA’s Lens product & technology by the simple & clear way with a professional, high-quality and Japanese style which match with their banding.
The previous website of HOYA was developed few years ago, the website structure is not user-friendly for maintenance and mobile device browsing. Besides, there are many different types of product and technology information which the content could vary a lot. In order to let target audience easily understand, we have updated a large amount of content.
1. Restructure the website
In order to enhance the reading journey of the visitor, clean and stylish presentation of content is applied so that users can easily find the information which they needed and understand each product easily. We used photo oriented instead of a long paragraph to encourage the visitor stay longer of the website.
2. User-Friendly Functions
Most of the people may not know what is progressive lens and when they need it. Our recommendation can solve these problems, it like a survey, after answered few of questions about usage habit of your eyes, it will generate the result about which HOYA’s lens are suitable for you.
A call for action is added on every page, the visitor can go to Dealers Locator page easily. With Google map and check location function, visitor can locate nearby dealers and get dealer’s information immediately.
3. Responsive Development
The new website is developed with a responsive design which improves the overall usability and functions with multiple devices, in order to provide visitor perfect browsing experience.
